Andrea Mathieson is passionate about listening to Nature and helping people to remember their sacred connection with the Earth. Trained as a classical musician, Andrea began the Raven Essence project in 1995. As a highly-tuned intuitive, she now works assisting women to tend their ‘soul gardens’ in Grey Heron, a private retreat space in Maple, Ontario. She is the author of the “Raven Essence Manual – A Love Affair with Nature”, and “Gaia’s Invitation, Poems from the Sacred Earth”.

Ive somewhat recently found Andrea and her work and am captivated by her gifts. So much she does resonates with me on deep levels. In listening to this interview, I felt like I was eavesdropping on a very precious & sweet conversation between friends… such was their joy and lightheartedness. I felt the interview opened so many windows in my mind. One in particular is that my singing can nourish the land. Another is that I can “compost” my past… what an amazing way to consider my life.
