Tesa Silvestre holds a degree in Law and Economics from the University of Pantheon-Assas, in Paris (1989), a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College (1991), and a MA and M.Phil. in Political Science from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University, (1997).
After leaving Academia in 2001, she co-founded a small consulting company that worked for several years with visionary leaders, organizations and networks like the Fetzer Foundation, the Solar Circle, and the Tipping Point Network. In 2006, she co-founded a community organization in Cape Ann (New England) that focused on supporting collaboration amongst local leaders, innovators, and residents working on sustainability-related initiatives. Since 2009, she has been living a nomadic life between Bali, Europe, the Middle East, and the United states, writing and reciting poetry, experimenting with flow funding and grassroots philanthropy, connecting inspiring change-makers, and teaching whole body meditation.

Tesa speaks with Joanna about whole body meditation; paying attention to where the aliveness is; a larger kind of intelligence; the process of befriending ourselves; remembering the way of giving/receiving; life force, money and vulnerability; the flame of awareness; tender spaciousness; receiving together the Life Force.
