An Interview with Harri Aalto

Interview by
Joanna Harcourt-Smith

In this week’s episode Harri Aalto speaks with Joanna about: discovering the shimmer of consciousness; the language of inner experience; the intimate connection of human consciousness and Nature; the pain and challenges of life through an expanded consciousness; the longing of cosmic, earth and human consciousness to be unified; the full range of the senses; developing the potential of human consciousness; the role of understanding for expanding awareness; belonging to a larger reality; the most refined level of consciousness; love and deep understanding, one and the same experience.

From 1968 through 1978 Harri Aalto established his reputation as a fine artist with a number of one-man shows. His drawings, paintings, and sculpture have been acquired by major public and private collections. Following this period of time Harri worked with Catherine, his wife, for international heads-of-state and corporate clients as a muralist and designer. In his new book, The Landscape of Enlightenment, Harri’s descriptions soar from the mundane to the sublime and take the intimate details, understanding and experience of the awakened state to an entirely new level, revealing these natural aspects of individual awareness that are usually hidden and misunderstood. Harri has lived in the USA for many years and continues to create works of art.
