In this week’s episode Richard Grossinger speaks with Joanna about: there are ranges of knowledge that cannot be included in science; the politicization and ideologization of science, experience and spiritual freedom; physical reality and conscious reality create each other; the fluidity of reality; “the ecological problem is a problem of consciousness”; deeper than trauma; doing the work to match the Mystery; the magnifying glass of this crisis; the archetypal element of the DNA; the spiraling of the dimensions together; alchemy is coming back into the language of climate change.

With a PhD in ecological anthropology from the University of Michigan, Richard Grossinger has written widely acclaimed books on alternative medicine, cosmology, embryology, and consciousness, including “Dark Pool of Light”, “Reality and Consciousness”, “The Night Sky: Soul and Cosmos”, and his most recent book, “Bottoming Out the Universe: Why There is Something Rather Than Nothing”. In February 2020, Grossinger became the curator of a new imprint at Inner Traditions International, Sacred Planet Books. His main psychospiritual practices have been dreams and symbols, tai chi chuan, craniosacral therapy and the Sethian system of psychic energy taught by John Friedlander and Gloria Hemsher. He lives in Portland, Maine and Berkeley, California.
